Kristin Fisher joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. In her position as the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she has covering everything from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space-related companies and the rise and development of tourism to space. Kristin is the daughter of NASA astronauts, and also an avid space fan has spent her entire childhood in the industry. She spent five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other things. She traveled extensively with both the President and Vice-President included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on along with Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the newsrooms of local markets like Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before joining the CBS network. She was awarded an Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as a CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in 2014. The company specialized in creating documentaries for corporate clients such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their three-year-old daughter.
